The CUNY Graduate Center History Department’s Peer Mentoring Program began during the 2014-2015 school year. Over the course of that year, the program hosted workshops about the First Year Experience, Prepping for Orals, and Teaching Undergraduates. During the 2015-2016 school year we added a workshop to follow up after first year exams and one focusing on Writing, Publishing, and Conferences. We also partnered with a new student-led initiative known as Teaching Conversations, which has become an official part of our offerings for 2016-2017.

The program as a whole can be contacted at gchistorymentors@gmail.com.

We’re looking forward to working with you this year!
